Oppo Set to Unveil Find N2 Flip: A New Challenger to the Foldable Phone Arena.

In a bold move to captivate the global smartphone market, Chinese tech giant Oppo is primed to launch its latest innovation, the Oppo Find N2 Flip, a foldable phone that’s set to rival the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. With its distinctive features and competitive pricing, the Oppo Find N2 Flip aims to disrupt the clamshell-style foldable phone landscape.

Having made its debut in China earlier this year in February, the Oppo Find N2 Flip introduces a captivating 6.7-inch AMOLED display that elegantly folds in half, evoking the nostalgia of flip phones of yore. Complementing this design is a convenient 1.9-inch external screen that serves as a hub for notifications, time, battery status, and more, offering users quick glances without having to unfold the device.

Under the hood, the Oppo Find N2 Flip packs a punch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor. Backed by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the phone is poised to deliver impressive performance across various applications and tasks.

Among the phone’s standout features is the innovative three-stage slider adorning its right side. This slider not only acts as a volume control but also serves as a mode switcher and a quick-access camera app launcher. This slider concept bears a striking resemblance to the slider found on OnePlus phones, both brands sharing the same parent company.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip doesn’t skimp on its camera capabilities either. With a Hasselblad-branded camera system, users can expect impeccable image quality. The setup comprises a 50-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera. The phone even conceals a 32-megapixel selfie camera under its main display, adding to its versatility.

A 4,500mAh battery anchors the Oppo Find N2 Flip, fortified by 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities. Running on Android 12 with Oppo’s ColorOS 12 skin overlay, the phone ensures a seamless and customizable user experience.

While the Oppo Find N2 Flip enters the global stage as a compelling contender, its price point of CNY 8,999 (approximately $1,400) in China is notably lower than its Samsung counterpart, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which commands a $999 price tag in the US. However, it’s essential to mention that the Oppo Find N2 Flip does not boast an IP rating for water and dust resistance, a feature present in the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Though Oppo has refrained from revealing the exact launch date or availability of the Find N2 Flip in international markets, the company has tantalizingly teased that its arrival is imminent. As the smartphone sphere braces for this new entrant, Oppo is set to encounter fierce competition from established players like Samsung and the likes of Motorola, Xiaomi, and Huawei, who are also vying for a slice of the foldable phone market.
