ONE Esports, a prominent esports tournament organizer and media company, has exciting news for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) fans worldwide. They have officially announced the return of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational (MPLI) in 2023.
Scheduled to take place in November 2023, this edition of MPLI will mark a significant milestone as it transitions from an online-only event to a LAN tournament. MPLI is jointly organized by MLBB developer MOONTON and ONE Esports, bringing together the world’s top-ranked MLBB teams to compete for a substantial prize pool of $100,000.
In its previous editions, MPLI has showcased thrilling matches and garnered impressive viewership. The 2022 edition attracted approximately 700,000 viewers, while the 2021 edition reached a peak viewership of over 1.7 million people, according to esports data platform Esports Charts.
The MPLI has become a highly anticipated event within the MLBB community, featuring teams from Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In the 2022 edition, Indonesian team Alter Ego emerged victorious, lifting the coveted trophy.
ONE Esports, known for its expertise and influence in the Southeast Asian esports scene, serves as the official media partner for PUBG esports and a media partner for the LCK. In addition to organizing esports tournaments, the company also hosts events like the SEA VALORANT Invitational.
