Chronic pain warrior completes 193 laps in 12 hours, raises funds for military veterans’ charity.

Lexi Chambers, a former nurse hailing from Devon, has achieved an extraordinary feat by being awarded a Guinness World Record for traveling the greatest distance in 12 hours using a standard wheelchair. Lexi’s remarkable achievement not only showcases her incredible determination but also serves as an inspiration to others facing physical challenges.

Lexi Chambers accomplished this feat by completing an astounding 193 laps around Exeter Arena’s track in August, demonstrating her unwavering spirit and resilience. What makes her accomplishment even more remarkable is that Lexi is a below-knee amputee and battles two chronic pain conditions, Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and fibromyalgia.

Lexi is no stranger to setting world records, having previously achieved the fastest full and half marathons in a non-sport wheelchair. Her tenacity and commitment to pushing her physical boundaries have not only led to personal achievements but have also inspired those around her.

Lexi Chambers took on this extraordinary challenge not just for personal glory but to raise funds for a noble cause – The Aaron Lewis Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting military veterans. Her tireless efforts in this endeavor have not only broken records but also made a meaningful impact on the lives of those who have served their country.

The England Women’s Rugby team, including captain Marlie Packer, had the honor of presenting Lexi Chambers with her Guinness World Record certificate. Lexi expressed her gratitude and excitement at receiving the award, stating that it was a massive shock, and she didn’t have the words to describe how incredible it felt to be recognized for her achievement.

Lexi Chambers’ journey from a nurse to a record-breaking wheelchair athlete and fundraiser exemplifies the power of determination and the human spirit’s ability to overcome adversity. Her story resonates with people around the world, proving that physical challenges can be conquered with perseverance, support, and a heartfelt dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Lexi’s remarkable journey is a testament to the indomitable human spirit, and her dedication to raising funds for military veterans’ welfare is a shining example of turning personal achievements into acts of compassion and goodwill.
