Kazi Asma Azmery, widely celebrated as the “Green Passport Girl,” has reached The Gambia, continuing her inspiring journey as the youngest Muslim female solo traveler from South Asia. Asma is not only a world traveler but also a dynamic motivational speaker, youth activist, and global change maker. Her travels have taken her across 145 countries, where she has left an indelible mark of inspiration, empowerment, and environmental consciousness.
Asma’s mission revolves around promoting the Bangladeshi Green passport and encouraging women and youth worldwide to embrace travel. She advocates for gender equality, peace, and human rights. Her unique travel themes, “Fun Way to Learn” and “Green & Clean World,” resonate with the impactful messages she spreads wherever she goes.
Asma’s travels have inspired nearly 50,000 youth, students, and women across 700 schools, colleges, and universities. She encourages them to dream big, explore the world, and champion important causes. As the youngest female South Asian solo traveler to visit over 145 countries, Asma has achieved significant milestones, inspiring countless individuals along the way.
In celebrating her 100th country, Turkmenistan, Asma initiated a global tree plantation campaign, planting trees in every country she visits. Her commitment to promoting environmental sustainability has made her a true advocate for a “Green & Clean World.” Her efforts have garnered global attention, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.
Asma’s dedication extends beyond her travels. In Khulna, Bangladesh, she established the “Inspiring Youth” library and language club, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment. As a committed Rotarian, she has visited over 100 Rotary clubs worldwide, fundraising for various organizations that aid underprivileged communities and disaster-affected regions.
Asma’s contributions have earned her prestigious accolades, including the Best Travel Influencer Award 2022 and the Women’s Conclave Award 2022 (India). Her media appearances on BBC Bangla Radio, German Radio, Voice of America, and China Radio have amplified her influence, spreading her message to a global audience.
Among her notable achievements, Asma cherishes her meeting with Ban Ki-moon, the former Secretary-General of the United Nations. Her involvement with the Rotary International Travel & Hosting Fellowship and the Rotary People of Action Group Against Slavery underscores her commitment to global service and advocacy.
