The Metropolitan Police have identified the suspect they are searching for as Yostin Andres Mosquera, a 24-year-old Colombian national. They have issued a warning to the public not to approach him, emphasizing that he may be dangerous. While both victims are believed to have been known to Mosquera, formal identification is yet to take place.
Officers found the additional remains at a house on Scotts Road in Shepherd’s Bush. The connection between these remains and those found in the suitcases near Clifton Suspension Bridge is being investigated. Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine emphasized that locating Yostin Andres Mosquera is the priority. “We urge anyone who has seen Mosquera or has information about his whereabouts to contact us immediately. Detectives in both London and Bristol are actively pursuing leads to bring this case to a resolution.”
A 36-year-old man arrested in Greenwich in connection with the investigation has been released without charge, leaving the focus squarely on Mosquera as the primary suspect.
