In a deeply disturbing and controversial statement, Hanoch Milwidsky, a member of Israel’s ruling Likud party, has defended the alleged rape and abuse of Palestinian prisoners. The controversy arose from an incident involving nine Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reservists accused of raping and abusing a Palestinian prisoner.
